Emanuele Berrilli

I did my university studies at Roma Tre university. I graduated in biodiversity and ecosystem management. Now I'm a Phd student at the university of L'Aquila in Department of Life, Health and Environmental Sciences. I'm working on a project on Molecular evolution and phylogenetics of leaf beetles (Insecta, Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae) with implications for conservation. I have interest in evolutionary biology, phylogenesis and phylogeography.

Cristina Mantoni

I’m a biologist with a master degree in biodiversity and ecological management. I have a wide of interests including entomology, urban ecology and environmental conservation. I’m currently a PhD student in Environmental Sciences. I’m involved in an ecological research focused on arthropods along elevational gradients, with emphasis on species that can be used as early warning elements of climate change.

Francesco Cerasoli

I’m a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences, currently working as postdoctoral researcher. My research activity focuses on theoretical and practical issues regarding the application of different Ecological Modelling techniques to Biological Conservation and Phylogeography. I’m particularly interested in the investigation of the abiotic, ecological and evolutionary factors shaping the past and current distribution of animal species, and in the assessment of the effects of ongoing climate change, and of its possible future trajectories, on current biodiversity patterns at varying spatial scales.

Mattia Iannella

Currently, I am a post-doctoral researcher with a research grant. My field of research is focused on amphibians and reptiles’ ecology and conservation, applying both population monitoring techniques on field and GIS and SDMs analysis.I also apply these techniques to study biogeographical issues and biodiversity management over some vertebrates and invertebrates taxa.

Michele Di Musciano

I am Ph.D student in Environmental Sciences. My research field is focused on analysis and prediction of the effects of climate change on mountain vegetation of Central Appennines. In particular, using advanced techniques of ecological modelling I am analyzing the main environmental factor that influence the plant species distribution. Moreover, I am studying the dispersal ability of plant to correlate these traits with the colonization ability under climate warming scenarios.
